Head of Marketing

I joined Shanti Bhavan after nearly two decades of working in B2B2C SaaS technology, and after a lot of reflection on what I want my career to mean. I’ve always been drawn to understanding the motivations, aspirations, and experiences that shape people’s choices. Shanti Bhavan felt like an opportunity to put that curiosity toward helping children build futures that would otherwise feel completely out of reach.

As Head of Marketing, I’m focused on growing awareness of our mission, deepening our connection with donors and supporters, and finding new ways to bring the children’s stories to the people who need to hear them. My background spans sales, account management, brand and product marketing, and I’ve built functions from the ground up while leading efforts that drive results and nurture relationships.

This role is also personal. I’m half-Indian, and my father’s Indian roots are something I carry close. The idea that a child’s potential could be limited by the circumstances of their birth, in a place that is also part of my own story, is something I feel called to act on. I’m grateful to be here, contributing to work that changes lives today and reshapes what’s possible for generations to come.
