Ganga and Sam are back from their trip abroad, and they had an amazing time!
Sam and Ganga came to the U.S. at the invitation of Tufaan Entertainment, a student group at Northwestern University in Chicago. Both were great ambassadors for Shanti Bhavan!
In Chicago, Sam and Ganga experienced tons of classic foods like Lou Malnati’s deep dish pizza, Magnolia Bakery’s banana pudding, Stan’s Donuts, and more. When they weren’t enjoying local treats, they were visiting the Cloud Gate, the Willis Tower Skydeck, and the Field Museum. To top off their visit to Chicago, Sam and Ganga presented an incredible speech to an audience of over 1,000 people at the Tufaan Entertainment dance competition, held on the campus of Northwestern University.
Before they knew it, it was time to hop over to New York! In addition to attending the Broadway’s Babies annual gala, Sam and Ganga successfully completed an escape room, saw King Kong on Broadway, socialized with former Shanti Bhavan volunteers, dropped by She’s The First, visited with companies like LinkedIn and Aavrani, and toured the Empire State Building.
After a whirlwind trip, Sam and Ganga are happy to be back with their classmates at Shanti Bhavan. They made memories to last a lifetime and are so grateful to everyone who made this trip possible!
