In 2024, we opened Shanti Bhavan 2 in Chikkahosahalli, a village close to Bangalore with 60 young children starting their journey in preschool and kindergarten.
With two campuses, Shanti Bhavan can now reach twice as many children each year, giving more families access to quality education, healthcare, and opportunity. Over time, the second school will grow grade by grade, eventually serving more than 300 students.

Like our original campus, Shanti Bhavan 2 serves children from India’s most disadvantaged communities, families who live on less than $2 a day and have faced generations of exclusion. Here, every child receives the care, education, and mentorship needed to build a life of dignity and opportunity.

After one year at Shanti BhavanOpening Shanti Bhavan 2 in 2024 was just the beginning. Thanks to our generous supporters, we’ve completed Phase 1: dormitories for young children, communal spaces, and essential campus infrastructure.
Now in Phase 2, we’re finishing the main school building and adding spaces that make Shanti Bhavan a true home for learning with classrooms, dining hall, and outdoor areas for play and growth.
Next, we’ll build a sports field, equip new classrooms for higher grades, and create specialized spaces for the arts and hands-on learning. With your continued support, we can bring the full Shanti Bhavan experience to life for every child.
