With a keen interest in communication, I completed my Master’s in Journalism and joined IIJNM—one of India’s top 10 journalism colleges—where I served as a Senior Academic Assistant. During my time there, I supported the admissions process, assisted faculty with academic planning, and delivered guest lectures at various colleges across India. I also contributed to developing a media literacy curriculum module.
After completing a certified Train-the-Trainer course in news and information literacy through FactShala and the India Media Literacy Network, I conducted fact-checking and verification sessions across diverse communities—students, senior citizens, women’s self-help groups, municipal workers, and dry waste collection center staff—empowering them to identify and respond to misinformation.
In 2024, I joined Shanti Bhavan. In my current role as Manager for Student Communications and Engagement, I oversee academic and student services for our India-based students, supporting them through effective communication and consistent engagement, particularly in navigating academic challenges, exploring career paths, and managing personal growth.
