Overview
Shanti Bhavan Educational Trust seeks a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Manager – CSR to lead our corporate fundraising and partnership initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Senior Manager – CSR’s responsibilities include developing and executing our CSR fundraising strategy, cultivating relationships with corporations for CSR and fundraising, and managing donors effectively while working alongside a team of mission-driven professionals.
You will directly contribute to Shanti Bhavan’s mission of empowering children from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Your efforts in expanding our donor base and fostering long-term relationships will enable the growth of our programs and amplify our impact on the communities we serve.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive strategic thinker and skilled communicator, with either a sales background or a strong understanding of India’s CSR system and experience navigating partnerships with corporate donors.
Responsibilities
Fundraising Strategy & Execution
- Design and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to achieve annual and multi-year revenue targets
- Identify and cultivate new funding opportunities through CSR mandates, corporate philanthropy, and institutional donors
- Lead the creation of tailored proposals, presentations, and communication materials for a wide range of funders and prospects
Corporate Partnerships & Donor Relations
- Build and nurture long-term partnerships with corporate partners.
- Organize and facilitate donor engagement activities such as site visits, virtual/in-person events, and reporting sessions
- Represent the organization at CSR forums, networking conferences, and donor roundtables
Grant Management & Reporting
- Oversee the full lifecycle of CSR grants, including due diligence, MoUs, compliance, and renewal negotiations
- Collaborate with internal teams (program, finance, communications) to ensure effective implementation and donor stewardship
- Ensure high-quality, timely reporting and impact communication aligned with donor expectations
- Maintain accurate tracking of donor metrics, funding milestones, and partnership outcomes
Qualifications
We seek a proactive, resourceful, and determined professional candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, fundraising, or a related field, with a demonstrated track record of success in either sales or CSR management, donor acquisition, and retention.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Development Studies, Communications, or related field
- 8–10 years of experience in either sales or CSR fundraising, corporate partnerships, or donor engagement
- Strong network within India’s CSR and philanthropic sectors
- Experience delivering customizable CSR initiatives and client-centric programs
- Skilled at developing and delivering persuasive, well-designed presentations
- Excellent relationship-building, interpersonal, and client service skills
- Outstanding project management and organizational abilities
- Adept at managing multiple high-priority tasks under tight deadlines
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented, committed to excellence, and highly professional
- Flexible schedule to accommodate international calls and time zones
- Persistent and self-motivated in follow-up and outreach efforts
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Willingness to learn platforms like Asana, Hubspot, and others as required

- Anticipated start date: July 2025
- This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, with flexibility for hybrid work arrangements
- Occasional domestic travel for donor visits and CSR events may be required
- Salary range: Rs. 18- 20 lakhs per annum
