This is the Privacy Policy (“Policy”) for Shanti Bhavan Children’s Project (“Shanti Bhavan”, “Company”, “our”, “we”, “us”, whether capitalized or lowercase).
This Privacy Policy describe the how we may collect, use, share or otherwise process personal information, particularly in association with our marketing and business development practices and the operation of our websites, portals, mobile applications, email correspondence, and any of our social media channels (collectively, our “Platforms”), and in connection with any of our services, classes or events, video training, tools or products (collectively, our “Products”).
Please note that this Policy only pertains to our Platforms and the information and/or Products offered on the Platforms in the United States.

For California residents, our Notice at Collection is as follows:
- A list of the categories of Personal Information we collect is available in Section A.
- The purposes for which Personal Information is collected and used are available in Section C.
- We disclose data in a manner that may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” (as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), California Civil Code Section 1798.100 et seq.) of personal information about you. A. The Types of Information We Collect
“Personal information” is any information that can be used to identify you or that we can link to you.
We may collect the following categories of information:
Identifiers & Contact Information: This may include your name, your business name, contact information (including both home and work), title, email address, telephone number, birth date, and other information about yourself.
Donation & Transaction Data: If you make a donation through our Platforms, your payment method and related financial information is collected directly by our payment processors. We may, however, receive limited transaction-related information from the processor—such as the last four digits of your card number, card type (e.g., Visa/Mastercard), your name, and billing address—for purposes of recordkeeping, confirmation, and compliance.
Device and Browsing Data: We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies on our Platforms that collect information about the type of device you use to access the Platforms, the operating system and version, your IP address, your general geographic location as indicated by your IP address, your browser type, the content you view and features you access on the Platforms, the web pages you view immediately before and after you access the Platforms, whether and how you interact with content available on the Platforms, the search terms you enter on the Platforms, and metrics related to emails we send you, including open rates and click rates.
Analytics and Behavioral Data: We also use third-party analytics and session replay tools, including Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Meta Pixel. These technologies may record information such as your interactions with our website (including clicks, scrolls, and navigation patterns) in real time. We implement these tools to better understand how visitors use our Platforms, to improve website functionality, and to measure the effectiveness of our outreach campaigns. We configure these tools so that sensitive personal information, such as payment card numbers or full financial data entered into donation forms, is not captured.
Voluntary Submissions: We collect information provided by you through forms, sponsorships, or correspondence.
Location Data: When you access the Platforms via a mobile device or other location-enabled method, we may collect precise location information if you permit the Platforms to access such information. We may use this information to provide you with content based on your location.

B. Sources of Personal Information
We collect your personal information when you provide it to us. We may automatically collect certain information when you use, access, or interact with our Platforms. And we may collect information from other sources, such as social media platforms that may share information about how you interact with our social media content.
1. Information you provide to us.
We collect information that you provide to us, including when you communicate with us via email or other channels, including social media; when you sign up for or request that we send you newsletters, alerts, or other materials; when you sign up for a webinar or event; when you respond to our communications or requests for information; when you license or purchase any of our Products or services; when you provide camera access; video and streaming information. We may also collect information if you provide it to us through the use of forms that you download from our Platforms, complete, and send to us.
2. Information we may collect automatically.
We and our service providers use browser cookies, device identifiers, and similar tracking technologies such as pixels, web beacons, and local storage to collect and store certain information when you use, access, or interact with our Platforms. Some of these tools, such as Microsoft Clarity and other session replay technologies, may record how you interact with our Platforms in order to generate heatmaps and usability analytics. These recordings are not used to capture sensitive inputs like payment card data but may include interaction data such as mouse movements, clicks, and form navigation.
Some of our service providers or plug-ins may use cookies or other methods to gather information regarding your use of the Site and may combine the information in these cookies with any Personal Information about you that they may have. The use of such tracking information by a third party depends on the privacy notice of that third party.
We also use analytics services, including Google Analytics, to assist us with analyzing our website traffic through cookies and similar technologies. Please note that we do not currently respond to web browser do not track (“DNT”) signals or other mechanisms that may allow you to opt out of the collection of information across networks of websites and online services as there is no standard for how online services should respond to such signals. 3. Information we collect from other sources.
We may receive information about you from other sources, including third parties that help us: update, expand, and analyze our records; identify new customers; or prevent or detect fraud. We may also receive information about you from social media platforms, including but not limited to when you interact with us on those platforms or access our social media content. The information we may receive is governed by the privacy settings, policies, and/or procedures of the applicable social media platform, and we encourage you to review them.
