In the summer of 2022, I began an incredible journey with Shanti Bhavan by stepping into the role of On-Site Administrator for the upcoming academic year. This opportunity allowed me to spend moments of joy and learning with the children, staff, and volunteers. I embraced the privilege of working together to achieve our shared dreams and goals.
Currently, I serve on the Strategic Partnerships team, where my responsibilities include deepening our existing relationships and pioneering new initiatives to attract future supporters. I also play a crucial role in enhancing our team’s effectiveness by improving our use of technology, which has been a deeply rewarding part of my work.
I help drive success by utilizing technology and strategic approaches to increase awareness of our mission. I also have an opportunity to nurture our valued partnerships through ongoing conversations, events, and more. I enjoy discovering more about our supporters and helping them achieve their philanthropic aspirations; to know there are people that care as much as they do is encouraging. Their generosity serves as a catalyst, empowering our daily efforts at Shanti Bhavan and helping us achieve remarkable progress.
As I look to the future, I am full of excitement. I am eager to see our work, which has already spanned nearly three decades, grow. We are committed to making a lasting impact on more communities, changing the futures of children and their families for many generations to come in this region of India.
